27 May 2008. TRRP has supported 124 projects during its lifetime of which 35 remain active.

4 May 2007. Local Knowledge, Local Experience is a guide to achieving local action for rural development through local partnerships.
Local Knowledge Local Experience
has been developed by the six LEADER+ groups in the south west of England and captures good practice through documenting how LEADER+ has been delivered in the region. Click in the link to access the publication.

4 April 2007. Latest TRRP Newsletter (700Kb) including details of the Community Ddelegated Fund, projects and progress made since 2003

30th March 2007. DEFRA have issued new guidance for final accounts of expenditure requrements for projects that have received more than £5,000 EAGGF. (NB the figure is not your total grant but only if the EAGGF part is over £5,000) The new guidance aims to bring consistency to the process. The guidance applies to all projects that are not run by local authorities (separate guidance available) and replaces the guidance on 'final audits'. Project Certification of Expenditure Requirements

The Community Delegated Fund will acceept applications up to £3,000 until June 2008

Project News

VANLAND. Feb 07. Congratulations to the VANLAND project which was nominated for best installation at the south west Media Awards. The youth media project was up against some stiff competition from professional organisations with very large budgets. The project was commended for being fun and enthusiasm. it was a huge achievement for the project and the young people to get this level of recognition against such a high level of competition.

Market Makers: Nov 06: The project has been selected by the national network co-ordinators as an example of good practice in developing markets using LEADER+. MM is one of only 4 projects from England selected. Enterprise South Devon, which runs MM, has been invited to participate at a special Good Practice Showground that will take place at the last LEADER+ national Conference on 22, 23 November near Inverness in Scotland .

Vision Switch. Jul 06 The successful multi media project with young people between Teignbridge and Kildare in the Republic of Ireland has been selected by the EU as an example of best practice for innoavtion in trans national working and a full article has been published in the EU LEADER+ magazine.

TRRP forms a partnership project with LEADER+ in Ireland. Apr 05. Building on the success of the VANLAND project, a new initiative has been approved that will make DVDs in County Kildare and Teignbridge about the perceptions and realities of living in each rural area and the day in the life of rural young people. The partners in the project are Blind Ditch Performance, The Centre for Performing Arts in Celbridge, KELT (the LEADER+ group in County Kildare) and TRRP.
