LEADER+ is an European Union programme for community-led regeneration in rural areas. L.E.A.D.E.R. is a French acronym broadly translated as 'actions for piloting development in ryarl areas' but the programme is now in its third phase and is thus known as LEADER+

A £2m LEADER+ programme will run in rural Teignbridge until 2008 covering all the District except for the parishes of Newton Abbot and Teignmouth.
